We returned from 90 degree Healdsburg California to 60 degree Seattle. I thought I’d be cold and dressed warmly today but actually I’m quite comfortable temperature wise in jeans and a t-shirt. I’m assuming it’s the humidity — it’s 70% humidity in Seattle, twice what it is currently in Healdsburg.
I definitely have a strong tendency towards homebody-essness (sic) and like the comforts of home. But it was nice to be in warm and cloudless California for a few days, and I’m definitely missing that today. Yesterday at this time I was sipping coffee surrounded by birdsong in sunshine and 80 degrees (pic below).
